How To Design A Web Page That Makes You The Most Money!

What is your purpose for creating a website? If it is to make money, there are certain design factors that you will need to factor into your creation.

Take a look at the websites you know that are successful. You will see that they have certain things in common. Apply these to your own website to make yours more profitable.

The Right Keywords

Even though you can advertise to get people to visit, you will also want to take advantage of search traffic. If you can rank organically, you will be able to get free traffic. Not only is this free, it also brings targeted leads which are more likely to turn into buyers.

But, you cannot use any keyword you think works. You need to use keywords that your potential customers use.

Keyword research tools are essential to find out what people are searching for. The paid ones will give you more tools and more data with one click of the mouse. The free ones can give you the same information, but you will need to perform some steps manually. So, both free and paid ones will work depending on how much time you have available.

Choosing The Right Color

Science says that color affects people’s actions. Blue is the color of choice in business because marketing tests prove that more people will buy from someone wearing blue versus any other color. However, different markets have different colors that trigger a person’s trust. It takes testing to find out what color will work for your website. A trick you can apply here is to visit your competitor’s websites and see what colors the successful ones use the most of. Use that same color to see what effect it will have for you.

Relevant Graphics

Graphics are appealing and can have a tremendous impact on what your viewers will do. They need to be relevant and portray a message that will lead your potential customer to a sale.

Sell The Feeling

Do not sell the product. People do not buy things, but they buy feelings. They want to feel a certain way by using your product or service. Think about how perfumes and colognes are sold. They do not sell it as this or that chemical combination, but they sell the potential feelings it can evoke. They give the impression that if you buy and use their perfume or cologne, you will be the most popular and sought after person. Your love life will never be boring.

Think of ways you can apply this to what you have to offer.

Affiliate Links

Many webmasters today are also affiliate marketers for other companies. If you are going to add these to your website too, you will want to make sure that they do not impede on your visitor’s experience. If all they see are ads, most likely they will be turned off. Place ads in strategic places and they will make money for you. You also need to choose relevant ads to put up. You do not want an ad on golf on a pet fish site.

Web Page Design Ebook

Web site design is a growing hobby and profession but also is not something that can be learnt overnight. Due to its major growth there are many different ways in which someone can gain the necessary knowledge to properly create and design a fully functional web site and one of these such ways is by way of a Ebook. An Ebook is basically a digital book that you can read on your PC or Laptop or basically any digital device.

In a regular book store you are sure to find a ‘’HOW TO” guide on web design and so to would you find it in Ebook format. This way it is much easier to read if you are on the go or just too lazy to flip through the pages. There is no different in the Ebook format, you get the same information and feel the same way. These Ebook’s contain all the necessary information for both beginners and those advanced web designers. They teach and show you from the basics of HTML to the more technical users who use ColdFusion, PHP or even designer applications such as CAD or DreamWeaver to name a few.

If your all about doing things yourself and spend some time on the PC then a Ebook is the much more appropriate thing rather than a hard cover book. There are tons of different Ebooks on this subject and can be found on the same amount of websites, all you need to do is search them and would be sure to find thousands of results.

While many people think of web design as something difficult in reality it is not. For some it may be easier than others but in general it’s a fairly simple thing to learn especially as most of us nowadays have more than basic computer knowledge. If you are talent artistically or in the digital world this can be a great way to showcase your talents to the entire world via the internet. With the help of a Ebook website design can be any easier, it is literally at your fingertips.

No matter the reason for picking up this technique it is all round beneficial. If you wish to use web design as a job then there are countless job offers waiting for you or even if you just wish to create a web site for yourself to display to your world your personal life it is all possible and all it takes is just for you to take some time and read not just a regular book but and Ebook.

Creating a web page is not just a simple task. There are certain steps that have to be taken before, during and after the web page have been created.

Step One

The first step involves you choosing a topic or theme on which to base your website. There are so many topics in the world, but the one you choose should be of interest to you as well as to others. Creating the website with your chosen topic, you must ensure that you make it fun for persons to look at and read. This will keep ensure that there is repetitive visits to your site.

When you have decided on the specific topic, you then need to create a text document on that topic and save it using the .html or the .htm format. At the beginning of your entry, you can place an attention-grabbing introduction and/or image so that persons will know exactly what you are talking about, once they have seen the image and before reading the entire article.

Step Two

The step entails choosing the specific tools, such as software, hardware, etc, that will be used in the creation of the web page. The software includes a HTML editor or a text editor. What this software does is provide the internet browser with information on how to arrange the text and images on the web page. Along with the editor, you are also going to be needing photos, graphics, etc and a graphics program to attach them to the web page. In addition, a file transfer protocol (FTP) client will definitely be required to transfer the web page from your personal computer (PC) to the web browser.

Step Three

The third step is understanding the HTML editor and using it to create your web page. At this stage, you will learn the HTML codes or tags, which have to be used on the web page. By learning these codes, it makes it easier for you to fix issues or problems associated with the editor.

The html codes may be a little complicated and confusing to understand when you first see then. However, it gets much easier as time passes because ‘practice makes perfect’. While learning the codes you could also be adding your images (graphics, photos, etc) to your web page. These images can be had from secondary sources or be original work.

Some of the basic HTML codes include <p> (the paragraph marker); <h#> (the heading marker; <br /> (the break tag); <strong> (the bold tag); <html> (the HTML tag); <head> — the head tag; <title> (the title tag) and <body> (the body tag)

Step Four

When you have reached step four, it is then time for you to save your document as a ‘Text Only’ using the .htm or .html format and have a preview of your work via the use of your web browser.

There may be a few problems when you first open the preview of your file. Adjustments, for any wrong details on your web page, can be made in your text editor. After which your re-save the document and reload the page. This step may have to be repeated until everything is perfect with it.

Step Five

After making corrections and adjustments, and you are satisfied with the page, it is then time for you to find somewhere on the internet to upload your pages or hosting your website. This stage also involves informing others about your website and its location on the internet. This can be done via word-of mouth; emailing the websites uniform resource locator (URL) to your friends and others; banner advertisements of your site; exchange of links between persons whose sites are about similar topics, and submitting your website to various search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, etc.

A Guide to Web Page Design

If you have a web site with an objective to persuade someone to do something, there are a few simple rules of graphic design that will help you get a lot better results. Here is a free tutorials to improve your web graphic design.

1. Use graphics to reinforce your sales message.

Most people don’t understand the purpose of web site graphics. The real purpose is to help reinforce your basic message.

The purpose of graphics is not to make your web site look pretty. The purpose is to accomplish a persuasive objective. Plain web site templates can’t do that.

You need custom graphics that actually help you get across your sales message.

2. Use colors to create the emotions you want your readers to feel.

The secret of using colors is to understand that every color communicates an emotional feeling. Know what message the colors you’re using communicates.

For example, a splash of red adds excitement. Too much red creates the feeling of danger. Dark blue signifies trust. Every color elicits emotional associations.

Here is good web page color combination

3. Instead of using the same, boring fonts everyone else uses, study how to use fonts to convey your underlying message.

Arial fonts are an easy choice. And while they work great for body copy, when you’re creating your headline, look for a font that better portrays your sales message.

4. Use your graphics to direct the eyes on your page.

You want the graphics to direct the attention of your readers to the right places. A model who is looking off the page detracts from your sales message. But a model or photograph of a person looking in the direction of your headline pulls attention to your headline.

By understanding the html basics of color, eye flow, fonts and graphics, you can reinforce the underlying message of your sales letter or web site – build webpages that sell.

You want to make a web page but you don’t know how. This article will give you drop dead simple steps to putting up your first web page. Here is a quick tutorial on how to create a simple web page fast.

Get an HTML editor
The first thing you need is the best HTML editor that will work for you.

Create HTML page
Create a new HTML page. Go to file > new > HTML. That’s all there is to it.

Insert a table
Your new breed of web sites use CSS. I won’t attempt to teach you that here. But ultimately, whether you use CSS or HTML, it’s still just pages on the Internet. Tables work fine.

To insert your table, just go to insert > table and select 600 pixels wide, 1 column and 1 row.

Center your table
Go to window > properties and make sure you have it selected. That gives you a menu bar where you can select align > center.

Add your headline
Type your headline and set the font size to X-large. Choose your color. Sometimes I prefer to take a screen cap of my headline and add it as an image in order to keep the formatting the way I want it in different browser sizes. Just go to insert > image to add your graphic.

Type your body copy
Put in the rest of your body copy. Use an arial or verdana font. You can insert additional tables to position pictures that you want to add. You can also add webpage backgrounds that compliment the style.

The thing to remember about creating your web page if it’s your first time is that it gets easier. Your first time is the hardest. After you do this several times, you’ll feel a lot more comfortable with it. Later on, you may want to invest the time to learn how to create a web page with CSS.

Access quality resources

To go to the next step and continue work on your new custom web design, you’ll want to access resources that will help you such as this step-be-step guide on how to make a web page.

If you want to avoid common web site top 10 web design tips and tricks this report has sold for $37.00 but is a complimentary download to readers of this article. This is a free downloadable ebook.

Subtitle: If you ain’t Squeezin’, dis is how u git started. Get your Squeeze on baby!

Are you Squeezin’? If you are, do you wanna double your results? If you aren’t, do you wanna get your Squeeze on?

A Squeeze page is what you use to convince folks to give you their name and email so you can follow up with them like I’m doin’ with you right here.

Hopefully, you follow up with some content and value. Although if you listen to the Ben Hart interview, you’ll see there’s more than one way to do this. Ben only sends pitches but it’s because his entry product is a buck. And if people won’t fork over a buck, why send ‘em free content. That is Ben’s theory.

Anyway, lemme (Oklahoma talk for “let me”) break down a state-o-thhe-art Squeeze page for you.

Here are two pages for you to study:

http://www.TurboProfits.com/tracking/go.php?c=michaeljones

http://www.TurboProfits.com/tracking/go.php?c=michaeljones2

Observations:

1. You do NOT have to scroll down the page to see the part where you input your name and email address. This is called being “above-the-fold.”

2. The Squeeze pages use VIDEO. When Daegan tested this, he DOUBLED his response. Thus, the headline of this article.

3. The headline immediately grabs your attention: “The AdWords Code for Earning $326,819.61 in 90 Days…”

4. The beginning of the video sucks you right in.

5. There’s no doubt about the action Michael wants you to take.

Just LOOK at the box on the right. It’s very well done with the arrow and all.

Overall, this is a world class Squeeze page. Now, Daegan calls ‘em lead capture pages. But whether you call ‘em Squeeze pages or lead capture pages, it’s all the same thing.

There are important nuances here to consider:

* What happens AFTER someone inputs their name and email address?

* Is a double optin used?

* How often are follow up emails sent?

* What is the conversion used in the follow up emails?

I discuss these questions quite a bit in Promo Dashboard and go in depth on my Ateam calls. If you aren’t on my Ateam yet, it’s the single best value in Internet marketing. Two calls per month with ME.

6. Notice the use of PROOF in this video. You probably don’t have THAT good of proof of performance. But I bet you have something.

7. Notice the sparing but effective use of graphics on the page. The graphics SUPPORT the overall objective which is to get you to input your name and email. Here’s an online course that would help you create your own web page fast and easy.

Compare this to Daegan’s page:

http://www.recruitlikecrazy.com

Daegan comes from the old school of copywriting (where I’m from) that says copy transcends graphics. But like me, he’s learned that cute web graphics CAN increase your response.

Originally, his Squeeze or lead capture pages didn’t have custom web graphics. He boosted response 20% by adding graphics and doubled response by adding the video. The thing I LIKE about Deagan’s video vs. Michael’s video is Daegan shows actual video of himself. Michael wants to be more anonymous, so he can’t do that. What you see on Daegan’s page is a world-class Squeeze tested and refined over the past two years.

But he’ll also say you don’t HAVE to start with the graphics. Plain ol’ text WILL get people to respond. The graphics are a 20% boost.

It rocks. Totally rocks.

OK. So this is it. The simple structure of state-of-the-art Squeeze pages.

1. Add video content to your website

2. Have a great headline

3. Make it all above-the-fold of the screen

4. Have a great box on the right side

5. Add graphics that support the message. Click here to get the online web design course that talks about graphic design tutorials, web design tips 101, how to make a good website and lots of download free web graphics.
